Ohio Autism Scholarship Program (ASP)

Up to $32,455/year for ABA, autism evaluation, speech, OT, and related services. Administered by the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce. On Target ABA is an approved ASP provider and bills the state directly.
Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship

Alternative funding for students on an IEP with disabilities other than (or in addition to) autism.
Ohio Medicaid & managed-care plans

Buckeye, Molina, CareSource, Anthem, AmeriHealth Caritas, and Humana Healthy Horizons all cover ABA for children with an autism diagnosis.

Utah families

Utah Medicaid (ABA benefit)

Do you accept insurance and will my insurance cover ABA therapy? +

We accept most insurances. Generally, insurance companies are required by law to cover ABA therapy for children with autism diagnoses, however there are some exceptions. If you are not sure if your insurance covers ABA therapy give us a call and one of our insurance experts can verify if you are covered.

Do you accept Medicaid? +

Yes. We accept Medicaid plans.

What if I'm out-of-network? +

If your plan isn't listed, don't worry. We routinely work with families whose carriers aren't in our standard network. Contact us and we'll verify your benefits, explore single-case agreements, and walk you through any out-of-pocket considerations before treatment begins.

What do I need to get started with therapy? +

You'll typically need (1) an autism diagnosis report, (2) a doctor's recommendation for ABA therapy if your insurance requires one, and (3) your insurance information so we can verify coverage. Most insurances are required to cover ABA therapy — we'll help you check.

How long does insurance verification take? +

We move quickly. After we collect your information, we coordinate and communicate with your insurance company on your behalf to obtain approval for requested services. Most families can start ABA therapy as soon as your insurance sends us their approval.

For most families we work with, ABA therapy is covered by insurance or Medicaid — meaning $0 typical out-of-pocket beyond standard copays and deductibles. Eligible Ohio families can apply scholarship funds toward ABA therapy. We accept and bill the Autism Scholarship Program directly.
